Why we exist
Our manifesto, in three passages.
The work in the middle
In a company of thirty people, the owner copies an order from the inbox into the ERP, in the evening. In one of three hundred, a manager compares three systems by hand that should say the same thing. In a group of three thousand, a request waits three weeks for someone who has the context. It is the same problem: work that sits in the middle of the real work. Ida exists to take it out of the way, at every scale.
A country grows on its infrastructure
Italian companies know how to make a good product. What holds them back is the way work moves between their systems, their departments and their partners. A small company often cannot build a workspace of its own; a large one has one, but in layers, with systems that talk to each other only through people. We believe neither should stand still because of it.
Why now
For decades, moving work between systems, departments and partners had only two ways: put people on it, or build custom integrations. Today there is a third way: agents that read, compare and prepare part of that work, inside the systems as they are, for a company of thirty people as for one of three thousand. Agents prepare, people decide. What changes is how much it costs, at every scale, to work well.
